Saïd Falati Design

Saïd Falati started working with designer Kalef Alaton in 1979 while studying at UCLA. After receiving his Master's Degree in Architecture and Urban Design in 1981 he began to work full time at Kalef Alaton et Cie where he was responsible for architectural design, interior architecture, and furniture design. During the ten years of his collaboration with Mr. Alaton, he oversaw the design and construction of a variety of projects throughout the United States (including Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Palm Springs, and Aspen) as well as overseas in Paris, Cannes, London, Melbourne, and Tahiti. This design work ranged from luxury private residences to hotels and offices and even a private 727 jet airplane.

In 1989, he started his own practice concentrating primarily on luxury residential projects for repeat clients on a referral basis. He has also worked on a few office building projects upon request from residential clients. In addition to this, he has been collaborating with Los Angeles-based interior designer Ron Gucciardo for over twenty years and provides architectural consultation services to other top Los Angeles interior designers. He specializes in the design and remodeling of highly customized residential projects, interior architecture, interior sketches and renderings, detailed cabinetry design, and furniture design.
